First Real Trip!!!

Well, we purchased our 2009 Jayco Seneca HD 36MS a week ago and took our first trip to NJ this past weekend. Will definitely have to play with the headlights as the low beams are aimed poorly and I believe the overall headlights could use some kind of upgrade. I did replace the wiper blades as they were still the stock ones and were in bad shape. It also seems like there is some extra noise from the drivers door in the area of the seal above the driver's window. Will have to play with that area too. Will also be designing some sort of center console to sit on the engine cover area under the dash. Need some place to stick some stuff to keep handy while driving, maybe another cup holder on it too. The camper towed great with my 24 foot, V-nose vending trailer behind it. I believe it drives much better with the weight of the trailer on the hitch. Without it the camper rocks back and forth but with it, it's pretty steady. Wifey is missing her heated seat from our truck so I might have to add that for her too. Too many projects, too little time.

Am on my BB and tried to send a reply to Crazy Ted about putting a holder on the engine cover. If its like our 35GS my wife did ours with a black tray, 8x1.5x16 or so from Walmart. She velcoed it on then added smaller trays to make compartments. She then velcoed a double cup holder to the side in front of the tray. Looks factory tailored. The cup holder was back by the car floor mats. Not sure about the trays. Very handy for sun glasses, levelers, ect.

I purchased a Chevy Express Van console. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/KodiakChassisClassC/photos/album/427332225/pic/1083027302/view?picmode=&mode=tn&order=ordinal&start=41&count=20&dir=asc
Installed it in front of dog house.
Here is one on EBAY.

The door noise can be solved in a couple of way. Lower the window. With door open, Pull hard on top of window frame to bend it toward inside of cab. This was suggested by another member that a dealer did to repair his noise. I moved the door latch in and used some Gorilla tape to fill in gap. No more noise after 5 years.
Try aligning head lights by putting a car 25' away from a garage door. Mark where the headlights hit garage door with masking tape. Put MH in same position as car. Adjust headlights to just above car tape marks. Replacing low beams (outer) with Sylvania SilverStar (H4656ST) also works well.

Any chance we could get some photos? We are using a basket and your description sounds like a great upgrade.
